This hearing assistance system helps listeners overcome background noise, reverberation, and distance from the speaker in classrooms and small groups, thus maximizing their ability to hear and understand. 

The system is designed to broadcast the speaker’s voice directly to the ears of individual listeners. While the speaker wears a compact transmitter and microphone, listeners use portable receivers and earphones to hear the presentation clearly and easily. The speaker’s voice is broadcast as an FM radio signal over a distance of 100-150 feet.
