A photoelectric type detector which is audible-only but can be used with remote strobes. Basic hardwired photoelectric smoke alarm. Designed for single station, tandem and specialty applications in homes, commercial residential occupancies, apartments, hospitals and hotels in compliance with UL 217, UL1730 and NFPA 101 (7-6.2.9) occupancies. When purchasing new smoke alarms, get enough to cover every level of your home and every bedroom. If you can, get “interconnected” smoke alarms - like the 7100F and 710CS/710-9CS. When one alarm goes off, they all sound. This means the alarm near you will go off sooner. It gives you more time to get your family outside to safety.
