This unique alarm clock uses advanced speech recognition technology that lets you easily set the time and alarm via voice commands, and it responds to queries such as "Time?" with vocalized answers. The unit recognizes 12 spoken commands such as .... "Time" - tells you the current time "Set Time" - set time by voice "Alarm" - tells you time alarm is set "Set Alarm" - set alarm by voice "Alarm Sound" - choose 1 of 3 available alarms "Turn off the Alarm" - turns off alarm; gives current time, date and temperature "Sleep Sound" - choose 1 of 3 available sleep sounds "Play Sleep Sound" - plays 5 minutes of sleep sound "Today's Date"- tells you today's date "Temperature" - tells you current temperature "Night Light" - turns night light on or off "Help" - offers a help menu of assistance The backlit LCD shows the time and date in 2"-high numerals. You can choose to wake to a buzzer, chime, or bell by simply saying "Alarm sound," and learn the current indoor temperature with the verbal cue "Temperature." The clock also has a voice-activated function that lulls you to sleep with the soothing sounds of the ocean, chirping birds, or a babbling brook.
